WAYSIDE MISSION and PURPOSE
Our mission is to support families with young children in our community by providing a comprehensive preschool where children can grow
and develop in a safe, secure, and loving environment. We desire to glorify God by providing a biblically integrated, developmentally appropriate curriculum to meet the needs of each child.

Each member of our staff is a qualified
employee according to Title 22 regulations
and is committed to provide loving
and understanding care for each
child, according to their needs. Staff
are CPR & First Aid certified.
ACTIVITIES
A great variety of ac tivities are provided in
our preschool to enhance each child's
opportunity to learn.
- CREATIVE MEDIA:
Play dough, painting, pas ting, s and, chalk, and
crayons
- SCIENTIFIC EXP LORATION:
Living things , their activities and our earth
- READINESS PROGRAM:
Subjec t matter to provide experiences which
build foundations in the language arts , math
and literature
- "WHOLE BODY" ACTIVITY:
Drama, dress up, games and
outside play
- SPIRITUAL GROWTH:
Age appropriate Bibles tories
and memory verses
We seek to pr ovide an abundant amount of
fun and enjoyment along with our activities. We also focus on the Whole Child with
a balance of child-initiated as well as
teacher-directed activities. Parents are
welcomed and encouraged to drive to and
participate in our field trips. All children
are required by the State of California to
have a car seat for field trips. There must
be one adult to every three children. All
drivers must be licensed and insured. You
will always be notified in advance of a field
trip and when parental permission is required
ADMISSION
REQUIREMENTS
Wayside Preschool is open year round, except for
certain holidays , to children two to six years. ALL
2 YEAR OLDS MUST BE POTTY TRAINED. Enrollment
at Wayside Preschool is on a first-come, first serve basis and is operated on a nondiscriminatory
bas is without regard to race, color, religion
or ethnic origin. Each parent is given a copy of
the Parent Handbook to read. Your signature on
the Parent Signature Statement is required before
the child may start school. Signing this statement
confirms you have read and understand the information
in the Parent Handbook. Each child enrolled
is expected to be ready for the type of
group experiences the school offers. If a child is
having problems adjus ting to c lassroom interaction, we will work with both the child and the parent
to make the child's experience as successful
as possible.
The following must be completed before
enrollment is final:
- Immunization card
- Physician's health form
- Emergency information
- Registration and first week's tuition paid
Tuition is due weekly and is considered late on Wednesday . A late fee will be assessed if payment is
received after Wednesday .

A 10% discount is given for the second child. A
10% discount is also given for active duty military,
however, one discount per family. A nonrefundable
yearly registration fee of $100.00 is
required with application. We provide a morning
and afternoon snack which is prepared in our
kitchen and includes at least 2 food groups.
The children bring their own lunches.
