The purpose of the music ministry of Wayside Chapel is to give glory, honor, and praise to God. Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 10:31 that “whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” This includes music! Those who are involved in the music ministry have many opportunities to serve the Lord and His church.

Our worship choir and worship teams, with the support of our technical ministry, lead us each Sunday in worship. At Wayside, our songs include the great hymns of the faith, which form a crucial foundation for our worship of God, and the more recent musical expressions of praise and worship songs.

It is our goal to encourage, train, and empower people in the areas of music and worship, and to be an evangelistic tool of Wayside Chapel with both local and global outreach.

WORSHIP CHOIR ~ College age and older; rehearses Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 pm (August – May)

The Worship Choir not only sings every Sunday morning, but also presents
seasonal concerts for the church and community, which also offers opportunities
for those interested in drama ministry.

OMEGA SINGERS ~ Senior citizens; rehearses on Mondays, 11:00 – 11:45am (August – May)

Omega Singers sing once each month on Sunday evening, and prepare a special program during the year.

Open to anyone (by audition), college age and older;
Rehearses on Wednesdays, 8:00 – 9:00 pm (August – May)

Open to anyone, college age and older.
Includes Sound, Lighting, and Video projection.
