Missions
When is comes to Missions.we get excited here at Wayside Chapel. If we are truly going to "Continue What Jesus Began" then supporting the efforts of missionaries around the world is our way of having a part in this great commission.
Wayside Chapel, as a part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA), seeks to evangelize among people groups who have not yet received an understandable presentation of the gospel and among whom there is no indigenous church effectively evangelizing those peoples. We also desire to plant churches among peoples responsive to the gospel, regardless of their previous exposure to Christianity, with a view to equipping those churches to evangelize unreached peoples and to plant missionary churches among them.
880 workers currently serve as missionaries worldwide with the Christian & Missionary Alliance.
Wayside is currently sending funds to support the work of three missionary families. Information about these families is listed below.
A monthly Missions Prayer meeting is held on the first Sunday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Olson home in Rosamond.
KOSOVO

Wayside Chapel has chosen to focus their missions' support in the countries of Kosovo and the Ukraine.
Dianna Ullrich is serving with the C&MA in Kosovo. Dianna grew up in Wayside Chapel and it has been exciting to send one of our own to the missions field.

Garold and Linda Elston are just beginning their journey into the missions field. They are partnering with Greater European Missions (GEM) and are in the process of preparing themselves to minister in Kosovo. Garold and Linda and their children, Christian and Ashley are currently a part of Wayside as they walk through this process of preparing the hearts and their lives for their work overseas.

UKRAINE
Bronislav Zilkovski along with his wife and six children are serving in Ukraine with the Slovic Gospel Association (SGA). Bronislav pastors a church in Odessa and is also the regional superintendent to 60 – 80 churches in southern Ukraine.

RUSSIA
Dmitriy Melnikov, pastors a church in Mogilev, Belarus. Pastor
Melnikov and his wife, Vlentina have 5 sons. Dmitriy is 14 years old, Daniil
is 10 years old, Stanislav is 9 years old, Andrey is 6 years old and
Alexander is 4 years old. Wayside Chapel sends support to the Milnikov
family in an effort to see that the gospel of Christ is shared with the
Russian people.
