Sunday School at Wayside Chapel is a vital part of who we are. The Sunday School Hour is our small group time on Sunday morning. Every week you will find biblical teaching that is very practical and impacts your life throughout the week. You will also discover meaningful friendship and support that makes the difference when the challenges of life come. The following Sunday School classes for adults meet at 9:00 AM every Sunday morning.

20 to 35-year-olds 30 to 45-year-olds 40 to 60-year-olds 55 years plus

Morning Worship 10:30 AM

Small Groups
Adult Bible Studies meet weekly or bi-weekly in homes around the community. We have groups that meet in Rosamond, Lancaster and California City. A small group is where friendships are made and needs are met. It's the best way to avoid getting "lost in the crowd".

Thursday evenings is family night and we have several classes for adults. A meal is served from 5:30 to 6:15 pm and adult classes are offered from 6:30 – 7:45. These classes run at the same time as our children’s, teens and college and career activities.

Primetimers: for those 55 years and older who enjoy getting together for Bible Study and social events. Besides the weekly Sunday School class they get together for trips, parties and special dinners for fun and fellowship.

Women of Wayside (WOW): Reaching out and meeting the spiritual needs of the women of Wayside and our community is what Women's Ministries is all about. They have Bible studies, social functions, discipleship groups and activities such as "Suppers for Six" where people sign up and are grouped in 'Sixes' for dinners, just to get to know each other better.

The Motherhood: Mothers with preschool children are invited to join other moms in the same stage of life for encouragement, and tips for successful mothering. Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month at 9:00 AM. Childcare is provided.

Celebrate Recovery is a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups through the love of Christ. It provides a safe place to share with others, a leader who has gone through a similar problem and an opportunity to find an accountability partner. Celebrate Recovery will not try to offer professional clinical advice. Celebrate Recovery meets at Wayside Chapel each Friday at 6:00 pm. We start with a meal, we offer childcare, and we end with dessert. For more information about Celebrate Recovery contact the church office at 661-256-9222. Men's Ministry:
Men’s Breakfast ~ The Men of Wayside Chapel meet for breakfast and time of fellowship once a month.
Basketball ~ Each Tuesday from 6 to 7 pm
Men’s retreat ~ Once a year the men get away overnight for a time of spiritual refreshment and fun.
